Help MR make 2022 our strongest year yet.

2022 is our first year with our new, full editorial masthead, featuring exciting new voices in literature and a desire to see and publish new work. With prose editors Jenzo DuQue, Asha Nadkarni, and Morgan Talty joining Q.M. Zhang, as well as Nathan McClain and Franny Choi taking the reins as poetry editors, we look forward to a wide-ranging, rollicking group of writers and artists in 2022. And we are thrilled to have Corine Tachtiris and Maria Jose Giménez on translation, and Mario Ontiveros joining Pam Glaven for art.

We couldn't do it without you.

Your gift powers MR in its mission to promote social justice and equality, along with great art. You support an over 60-year-long publication of diverse and underrepresented voices, and encourage artists who aren't afraid to stir up controversy and remind us of our shared humanity. You believe in the projects of MR that go beyond the quarterly magazine, such as the resource website to accompany our Native and Indigenous special issue in collaboration and in December, we launched our special Climate Crisis issue, guest-edited by Roy Scranton and Noy Holland.
